Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager

We are currently working with a fantastic employer in the Didcot area who are seeking an accounts payable and receivable manager to join their existing finance team. This is a great opportunity to work with an instantly recognisable household name who offer hybrid working. They have grown significantly over the last 3/4 years and with that there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in system and process improvement projects in addition to the day to day responsibilities. This role would suit someone currently working as an accounts payable supervisor or team lead who is looking to take on extra responsibilities in a more senior position. Responsibilities:Managing and developing a transactional finance team of 2 staffEstablishing robust controls and processes for supplier managementSignificant focus on accounts payable, but able and willing to be hands on with receivablesReview and report on aged creditors, debtors and unmatched receiptsLiaising with finance heads to ensure appropriate cash flow managementMonth end journal preparationInvolvement in a new system roll out and continued data integrity improvementAbility to investigate and resolve discrepancies and escalations Suitable applicants will have:Hands on accounts payable supervisory experience within a medium sized businessCan do attitude and team orientated approachProven experience in mentoring direct ..... full job details .....
