Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary Contract)Location: Greater ManchesterPay Rate: 16.48 - 18.68phDuration: Temporary contract until ChristmasHours: Full Time, Monday to Friday Our client, a well-established international manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary basis through to Christmas.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing supplier accounts, reconciliations and intercompany transactions. Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching purchase orders, invoices and goods receiptsManaging supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepanciesHandling supplier queries and ensuring prompt resolutionAssisting with payment runs and maintaining accurate recordsProcessing and reconciling intercompany transactionsLiaising with finance teams across multiple business entitiesSupporting month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliationsEnsuring compliance with internal financial controls and proceduresAssisting with ad hoc finance administration and reporting tasksSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger roleStrong reconciliation and problem-solving skillsExperience dealing with intercompany transactions desirableGood knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience using ERP or accounting ..... full job details .....
