Our client, a respected and growing accountancy firm based in Northumberland, is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager to join their friendly team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, delivering high-quality accounts and tax work, and supporting the continued growth of a well-established firm.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Senior Accountant, you will manage your own diverse portfolio of clients and be responsible for:Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of SMEs and owner-managed businessesCompleting personal tax returns and corporation tax returnsOverseeing bookkeeping and VAT workProviding ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring excellent service deliveryReviewing work produced by junior team members (where applicable)Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisorAbout YouWe are looking for an accountant with strong technical knowledge and confidence managing their own client portfolio.
