Accounts Manager Location: Gateshead Job Type: Full-time Salary: £38-48k, depending on experience My client is looking for someone to join their team as an Accounts Manager. Based at the Gateshead head office, this role plays a crucial part in supporting multiple UK trading entities and an overseas subsidiary. Day-to-day of the role Bookkeeping and Transaction Processing Maintain accurate, up-to-date bookkeeping across the group''s trading entities. Process purchase and sales transactions accurately, ensuring proper allocation to entities, including situations involving shared suppliers or banking relationships. Sales Invoicing and Intercompany Recharges Manage customer invoicing and the end-to-end intercompany recharge process, ensuring accurate reconciliation and supporting documentation. Credit Control and Accounts Payable Oversee credit control, including chasing aged debts and managing risk accounts. Handle accounts payable and organise payment runs across different entities. Payroll Support Assist with payroll, including collating variable pay data and resolving payroll queries. VAT and Statutory Compliance Prepare and file UK VAT returns for each entity and support statutory filings and compliance requirements, including those relating to the overseas subsidiary.
