This is ideal for a candidate who is looking to progress their career and eventually become a Financial Controller. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile balances. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements. Prepare and submit VAT returns. Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors as required. Produce detailed management reports to assist with strategic decision-making. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Monitor cash flow and support financial planning. Ensure compliance with accounting standards. policies, and procedures.
