Accounts Manager

Accounts Payable Manager up to 60k London (NW1) with hybrid working Our client, a well-established London law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join its finance team. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function and ensuring efficient, compliant and accurate financial operations within a regulated legal environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals and payment runs Manage supplier accounts, reconciliations and creditor forecasting Review daily and monthly online banking payment runs Handle supplier queries and maintain the AP inbox Liaise closely with billing and cashiering teams Supervise and support Accounts Payable Clerks Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and the SRA Accounts Rules Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls Produce accurate financial reports for internal stakeholders Requirements: Proven accounts payable experience within a law firm (essential) Strong working knowledge of VAT and SRA Accounts Rules Experience managing or supervising junior team members Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP) Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to take ownership of a ..... full job details .....
