We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to join our client''s finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in finance or accounting who is looking to grow their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase and sales ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations and processing payments
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC requirements
- Handling supplier invoices and resolving queries
- Compile annual and interim budgets in line with business objectives
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
Desirable
- AAT qualification (or working towards it)
- Experience within a construction environment
