Working closely with the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial management across multiple projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support daily financial processes across the businessProcess and maintain the sales ledgerLiaise with customers, issuing statements and resolving account queriesPrepare and submit quarterly VAT returnsReconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepanciesProduce monthly aged debtor and aged creditor reportsAssist with C.I.S administration, monthly returns, and subcontractor vouchersPrepare journals for management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciationComplete weekly bank reconciliationsProcess petty cash and company credit card expensesWork alongside Contracts Managers to monitor project costs and profitabilitySupport cash flow management and reportingSet up new supplier and customer accountsCarry out general finance administration, filing, and correspondenceProvide cover for colleagues during periods of annual ..... full job details .....
