Accounts Manager

An established and client-focused accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its team on a part-time basis.Role:• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and maintain accurate financial records• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports• Assist with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance• Prepare and review VAT returns and support HMRC compliance requirements• Support payroll processing and maintain payroll-related records where required• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and client financial transactions• Assist with year-end accounts preparation and liaise with senior accountants and external stakeholders• Analyse financial information and identify discrepancies or areas requiring attention• Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding accounting and financial queries• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide support on routine accounting matters• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company procedures, and HMRC regulations• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of enhanced systems and proceduresRequirements:• ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification• Minimum 3 years'' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice• Experience preparing payroll, VAT returns, sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts, and self-assessment tax returns• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as ..... full job details .....
