This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business at a pivotal stage in its development.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of an Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper will be: Record, process, and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyEnsure timely and accurate payment of supplier accountsCreate and issue customer invoices in line with agreed termsManage CIS returns and maintain accurate associated recordsPrepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirementsCarry out daily banking and bank reconciliationsOversee general bookkeeping and maintain organised financial recordsProvide financial support and insight to the company director and site teamsAssist with payroll preparation and processing as required ProfileProven experience in a similar accounts role within the construction sectorComfortable working in an SME businessProficient in Sage 50 AccountsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independentlyKnowledge of CIS is essentialExperience with payroll is desirable, but not essentialJob OfferCompetitive salary 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (DOE)Full-time, office-based role (40 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm) with flexibility on hours33 days holiday per year (including bank ..... full job details .....
