Accounts Manager - Royston, Hertfordshire - 6 Partner FirmAre you an experienced Accounts Manager looking for good progression at a highly respected, fast-growing firm in the heart of Royston.Our client is a 6 Partner firm based in Royston who operate within accounts, tax, advisory and audit. With over 70 members of staff, the firm are growing rapidly and are looking for individuals to join the team and work on a varied portfolio of clients. Often describing themselves as "big firm capability, small firm culture" they offer a breadth of services you might expect from a large practice but packaged in a friendly, always contactable manner. Accounts Manager responsibilities include:Assuming overall responsibility for client assignmentsDelivering accounts to partner for discussion with clientsTaking responsibility for WIP control and billingAssisting in the management of the overall team on a day-to-day basisActing as a major point of contact within the firm for client requests/needsOverseeing and managing clients'' accounts, tax and value-added services assignmentsAs an Accounts Manager, you will be/have:ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with 3 or more years'' post-qualification experience in an accountancy practiceProven client relationship skillsBroad accounts and tax knowledge with the ability to advise clients directlyExcellent knowledge of accounting packages e.g. IRIS, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks etcExperience of managing client assignmentsFull UK driving licence and access to ..... full job details .....
