Accounts Ledger Location: Liverpool Job Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established contracting and construction business based in Liverpool, delivering a range of specialist construction, contracting and associated services to commercial and private-sector clients. The business works across a variety of projects, providing professional contracting solutions from initial planning and coordination through to project completion. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Ledger to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is confident managing day-to-day ledger responsibilities and has hands-on experience using Xero accounting software. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function. You will need to have previous experience working within an accounts environment, with a strong understanding of ledger processes and excellent attention to detail. Key Duties and Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. Manage purchase and sales ledger processes. Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments.
