Based from our Guildford office we are looking to recruit an experienced individual in ABAS to work within a new and expending team. In your position as Senior, you will support the manager with the development and operation of a new service (within ABAS) - ''Accounting for Audits''.Client DetailsOur client is a highly reputable, top 10 accountancy firm in Guildford.DescriptionSet budgets and monitor them against ongoing job progress and report results to manager, communicate overruns/additional services taking corrective action when appropriate and necessaryManage flexible working of self and assistants based around client needs and business deadlinesDemonstrate ability to secure opportunities to add value to clientsTake pride in getting the job done fully and wellIs able to deal with challenging client feedbackProvides support, guidance and training to all team members and highlight areas of weakness through timely feedbackHas strong sector knowledge, however is aware of when to escalate more complex technical queriesProfileA successful Accounts and Business Advisory Senior should have:Professional qualifications (or studying towards them).Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.Experience in preparing financial statements.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.Job OfferCompetitive salary in the range of £45,000 to £57,000 per annum.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.Generous holiday allowance to support work-life balance.A supportive and collaborative company culture.Exposure to a variety of clients in the professional services industry.Hybrid ..... full job details .....
