Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring
timely submission
of financial statements and tax returns.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and acting as a
trusted adviser .
Prepare financial statements and year-end accounts for
sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies .
Manage and execute audits for Partner sign-off, focusing on
corporate governance, internal controls, and financial accuracy .
Oversee audit review, reporting, working papers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Organise workflow within the team, allocate assignments, and monitor resourcing requirements.
Review work undertaken by junior staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Ensure work is delivered within
budget and deadlines .
Support the
development and training
of junior staff.
Prepare schedules for
complex VAT and tax returns
and assist with advisory matters.
About You
ACA/ACCA qualified with at least
3 years practice experience .
Strong
audit and accounts technical knowledge .
Proven experience supervising, managing, and developing a team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
Confident, resilient, and adaptable, with a
proactive, solutions-focused approach .
