This is a maternity cover contract, expected to last around 10 to 12 months. The current member of the team finishes soon, ideally, there will be a good handover before they leave. It is a varied accounts role within a busy, down-to-earth working environment. You will report directly to the Accountant and work closely with the wider team. The role There is plenty of variety here, with responsibility across accounts, payments and payroll. Your day to day work will include: Processing a high volume of supplier invoices Bank reconciliations Posting journals Processing supplier payments Processing incoming and outgoing payments Supporting customer invoicing in a high-volume environment Processing weekly payroll for around 35 employees Processing timesheets and variable hours Supporting wider finance administration as required The business uses Xero for accounts, Sage 50 for payroll and Dext for supplier payment processes, so experience with these systems would be beneficial.
