A brand new Accounts Assistant opportunity has arisen for an industry leading global business based in North Hampshire.
 
Working within a small and friendly team, the role will encompass a wide range of day to day accounting activities.
 
Key duties of the role include:
 

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Overseeing the bank transactions and reconciling bank accounts
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Performing credit control duties
  • Allocating customer payments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Submitting VAT and intrastat returns
  • Undertaking supplier account reconciliations
  • Assisting with month end duties
 
The desired candidate will have the following skills & experience:
 
  • 2 years experience working in a busy finance role
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate level Excel ( pivot tables, v-look ups)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • Experience working in an international organisation
