Key Responsibilities: Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMaintaining the purchase ledger and sales ledgerPerforming bank reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basisAssisting with credit control, including chasing overdue payments via phone and emailHandling supplier and customer queries and resolving discrepanciesReconciling supplier statements and investigating differencesMaintaining accurate financial records and filing documentationAssisting with month-end proceduresProducing basic financial reports and spreadsheets when requiredSupporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks What We''re Looking For: Proven experience as an Accounts AssistantStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyConfident using accounting systems and ExcelSomeone who can pick things up quickly and add value from day one Extra information: Long term contractCompetitive payOffice basedPotential for extension depending on business needs ..... full job details .....
