Assistant Accountant Nottingham Up to £30,000 Permanent Full Time Office BasedSF Partners is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established and growing business based at its Head Office in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience who is looking to continue developing within a supportive finance team. The role offers broad exposure across the finance function, working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller, with plenty of opportunity to build on your existing experience. The roleAs Assistant Accountant, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance function and take responsibility for a varied range of duties, including: Managing stock and expense-related balance sheet processesProcessing expenses and company credit card transactionsSupporting supplier statement reconciliations and aged payable reviewsAssisting with ledger cleansing and intercompany journalsPosting to the general ledger and cashbookCompleting bank reconciliations across multiple companiesSupporting balance sheet reconciliationsProviding cover across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when requiredAssisting with finance projects and ad hoc tasks for the Management Accountant and Financial ControllerSupporting the implementation of new systems, technology and process improvements About you My client is looking for someone who has: Previous experience within an accounts or finance departmentA ..... full job details .....
