Accounts AssistantNewcastle Temporary (3 Months) 21.40 per hourA well-established Not for profit organisation in the North East is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join its finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month assignment.This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who has gained ideally experience working within a not-for-profit environment to quickly integrate into a busy finance function and provide support across a range of financial activities.Key Responsibilities;Processing and monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsAssisting with budget monitoring and financial reportingPerforming bank, balance sheet, and control account reconciliationsSupporting month-end and year-end finance processesMaintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulationsAssisting with grant funding and project expenditure monitoring where requiredResolving financial queries from internal and external stakeholdersSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc financial analysis and administrative dutiesKnowledge and Skills;Ideally previous experience working within a not-for-profit organisationExperience operating within a transactional or management accounting environmentStrong knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and the confidence to ..... full job details .....
