We’re recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an established Salisbury business, joining a close-knit finance team and supporting the day-to-day running of a busy accounts function. It’s a varied role covering sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, banking and reconciliations, so would suit someone who enjoys having plenty to get involved with rather than being restricted to one area of finance. What will you be doing? You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and wider team, with responsibilities including: Processing sales and purchase invoices, credit notes and payments Allocating customer receipts and maintaining accurate ledgers Credit control and customer credit checks Preparing and reconciling supplier payments Bank and cash book reconciliations Processing sales invoices and applications for payment Supporting month-end activities Assisting with costing and general finance administration Helping the wider accounts team wherever needed Who are we looking for?
