Finance AssistantJob Type: Part-time (25-30 hours per week)Location: DaventryWe are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our team in Daventry. This part-time role is crucial for managing our financial operations, including processing invoices, managing cash flow, and handling currency payments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate financial reports and reconciliations.Day-to-day of the role:Process all incoming invoices efficiently to ensure timely payments.Manage daily cash flow to optimise financial resources and ensure smooth operations.Perform daily reconciliation of all bank accounts to maintain accurate financial records.Manage currency payments and the ordering of currency to support business transactions.Produce detailed monthly reports for distribution to management to aid in strategic decision-making.Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in compliance with legal requirements.Handle intercompany invoices and perform reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly.Produce monthly cash collection targets for the credit control team to optimize revenue collection.Provide cover for credit control during annual leave, ensuring continuous management of receivables.Assist with month-end and year-end processes to support financial closing and reporting.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in finance or a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes.Excellent ..... full job details .....
