Reed Accountancy are delighted to working with an esteemed client in Billingham, who are on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing and successful team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with and learning from the Financial Controller, and they''re looking for a forward thinking, results driven Accounts Assistant, who is ready to make a real impact.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing transactional accounting across multiple entitiesManaging purchase ledger and sales ledger activitiesPerforming bank reconciliations and supporting cashflow managementAssisting with VAT and other financial reconciliationsHandling multi-currency transactions (USD, EUR, GBP)Supporting finance processes and identifying efficiency improvementsAbout YouAAT Level 4 qualifiedExperience using cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero or similar)Strong attention to detail with a proactive and inquisitive approachConfident managing both purchase and sales ledger functionsComfortable working with multi-currency transactionsKeen to learn, develop and improve processesIf you are an ambitious Accounts Assistant looking to develop your career in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, we would love to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
