Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper (Temporary - 6 Months)Location: ShrewsburyHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmContract: Temporary (Approx. 6 months)We are seeking a reliable and experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to support our finance function on a temporary basis for approximately 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, traditional accounts role and can confidently manage day-to-day financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging Accounts Payable - processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing paymentsHandling Accounts Receivable - raising invoices, chasing outstanding payments, and allocating receiptsMaintaining accurate financial records and ledgersBank reconciliationsAssisting with month-end tasksSupporting general bookkeeping duties as requiredLiaising with internal teams and external suppliers/customersAbout YouProven experience in an accounts assistant or bookkeeping roleStrong working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processesComfortable working in a traditional, hands-on accounts environmentHighly organised with strong attention to detailAble to manage workload independently and meet deadlinesConfident communicator with a professional approachExperience with accounting software and Microsoft ExcelWhat We OfferImmediate start in a stable and supportive environmentStraightforward Monday to Friday working hours (no evenings or weekends)Opportunity to utilise and build on your core ..... full job details .....
