      <description>Location: Ross-on-wye | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Accounts Assistant (6-Month FTC)Salary: Up to £28k FTELocation: Ross-on-Wye (hybrid, 2 days per week from home once established) We''re looking for an Accounts Assistant who can hit the ground running in a busy finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a varied role supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cashbook reconciliations and credit control, while helping drive process improvements across the finance function. Key responsibilities:  Processing supplier invoices and payments Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries Managing daily bank reconciliations and cashbook activities Supporting credit control and debt collection processes Maintaining accurate customer and supplier records Assisting with month-end activities and financial reporting Identifying and supporting finance process improvements  About you:  Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance assistant role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills Comfortable working with financial systems and Excel Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset</description>
