Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity to join a growing and supportive finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This is a varied role ideal for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a busy and professional environment. What You''ll Be Doing: Assisting with day-to-day finance and accounts activities. Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently. Assisting with purchase and sales ledger activities. Processing payments and updating financial records. Completing bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies. Supporting with month-end processes and general finance administration. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring information is entered in a timely manner. Assisting with the preparation and organisation of financial information. Using accounting systems and Excel to process, analyse and maintain financial data. Providing general support to the wider finance and accounts team. What We''re Looking For: Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role. A good understanding of general accounting and finance processes. Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Good organisational and time management skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
