Accounts AssistantIpswich 27,000 - 30,000 per annum We are recruiting for an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join a growing and supportive finance team based in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in transactional finance who is currently studying towards their AAT qualification and looking to take the next step in their accounting career. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities while continuing your professional development within a dynamic business environment. Key Responsibilities:Processing purchase ledger invoices and supplier paymentsManaging sales ledger activities and customer invoicingReconciling bank accounts and balance sheet accountsAssisting with credit control and aged debt managementSupporting month-end procedures and reportingMaintaining accurate financial records and data entryAssisting with VAT returns and other finance-related tasks as requiredSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties About You:Experience handling accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processesCurrently studying towards an AAT qualification (Level 3 or above)Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyGood organisational and time management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and finance systemsA proactive attitude and desire to develop a long-term career in finance If you have experience within transactional finance, are actively studying AAT, and ..... full job details .....
