Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant Church Stretton Permanent Working hours Mon Fri 9am 4:30pm 30 mins lunch £14.20 per hour Prince Personnel are working with a well-established business based in Church Stretton. Due to a retirement, they are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent contract. The role is 60% purchase ledger and 40% other accounts related tasks. You will be joining a small accounts team. Duties will include: Processing purchase ledger invoices Matching and batching invoices Arranging payment runs Resolving queries on both sales and purchase ledger Setting up new accounts Allocation cash to client accounts Issue customer statements monthly or as required by customers Managing 3rd party providers invoices Answering incoming phone calls, taking orders etc Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. Due to the rural location of the business you will also need your own transport.
