Accounts Assistant
A client of ours in the Haverhill area are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying 28,000 - 30,000 per annum depending on experience.Reporting to the FD, key duties include but are not limited to:Matching, coding and inputting of invoicesProcessing paymentsReconciling supplier statementsDistribution of invoices for approval and filingMaintaining and reconciling cashbooks to nominal and bankRaising invoices and posting receipts and credit controlNotifying invoices to and drawing down funds from Invoice Finance systemVAT and duty reconciliations and returnsCoordination of the company pension schemeGeneral ledger - prepare sales and purchase ledger for month end closeReconciliation of bank statements and general banking activitiesProcessing and paying expenses and petty cash maintenanceSupporting quarterly and annual stock taking activitiesSkills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:AAT Level 2 accountancy qualified (or equivalent)2 + years'' experience working in an accounts/finance environmentExcellent communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyConfident in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting systemsExperience with bank and ledger reconciliationsGreat Benefits to working for this company include:25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidayAn extra day off on your birthdayOption to enrol in the ..... full job details .....
