Accounts Assistant

Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our client based in Dartford. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Accounts Assistant. This is part-time, 2 days per week and long term temporary contract position and working for very well established accountancy company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression. Flexible start time: 9.30 to 16.30 or 10.00 to 17.00Job ProfileRecording and processing transactions via data entry into the ledger ensuring that they are correctly coded and posted to the right account.Raising sales invoices monthly and sending to clientsMaintaining the aged creditor account and chasing up late payments.Maintaining records and ledgers.Reconciling client accounts and bank at the end of each monthMaintaining and managing the filing system both manually and electronicallyHandling client enquiriesCandidate ProfileThe candidate must have a strong interest in working in a busy finance environment, meet targets and deadlines and possess a keen attention to detail.Have good verbal and written communication skills.Experience of working with accounting software: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks.
