Accounts Assistant / Practice Administrator - Accountancy Practice
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant / Practice Administrator to join a chartered accountancy practice, providing accounting support across a wide range of clients within a collaborative and supportive training environment.As an Accounts Assistant / Practice Administrator, you will perform day-to-day accounting tasks while gaining exposure to a variety of financial processes. This role offers a minimum salary of £28,000 plus benefits.Junior- to Mid level candidates with limited to moderate accountancy practice experience including Accounts Assistants, Accounts Administrators, Accounts Technicians, Junior Accountants, Accounts Semi Senior, or Bookkeepers within an accountancy practice environment will be considered.Candidates with general administrative experience will also be considered only if they have worked in an accountancy practice.You will be responsible for:Processing bookkeeping and maintaining accurate client recordsPreparing VAT returns and HMRC submissionsAssisting with annual accounts for sole traders and limited companiesSupporting MTD compliance and agent authorisationsOnboarding new clients and managing communicationsFiling documents and submissions with Companies HouseUploading and approving documents via online portalsHandling routine client queries and incoming callsWhat we are looking for:Experience in a similar role such as Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Semi-Senior, Bookkeeper, Accounts Technician, Accounting ..... full job details .....
