Accounts Assistant

Location: Solihull

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: -13.21 to -13.50 (dependent on experience)



About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:

    • Processing invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently

    • Assisting with bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records

    • Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports

    • Managing accounts payable and receivable functions

    • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures




Requirements:


    • Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role preferred

    • Strong numerical and analytical skills

    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

    • AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
