Accounts Assistant
Orka Financial is currently partnering with an exciting business based in Slough who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.ResponsibilitiesProcess supplier invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMatch purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes to ensure correct approvalsPrepare and process weekly/monthly supplier payment runs (BACS/CHAPS)Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepanciesMonitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding paymentsAllocate incoming receipts to customer accounts and maintain accurate recordsInvestigate and resolve customer queries relating to invoices and paymentsPerform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accountsIdentify and investigate discrepancies in bank transactions.RequirementsPrevious experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance roleWorking knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliationsStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracyGood understanding of basic accounting principlesStrong excel skills.This role is looking for an ASAP start, please apply online for consideration. ..... full job details .....
