Monday - Friday / 7:30am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4pm

-26,000 - -30,000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who enjoys working with numbers and supporting the day-to-day financial operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and processing transactions

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
• Managing supplier statements and resolving account discrepancies.
• Assisting with sales ledger duties, including raising invoices and monitoring customer payments.
• Processing bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations.
• Supporting credit control activities and following up on outstanding payments.
• Preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining financial databases and filing systems.
• Responding to finance-related queries from suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as required.

About you:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar accounting role.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in Quickbooks is desirable but not essential
