Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant, you''ll work alongside an experienced finance team, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting activities. Your role

Working closely with the Accounts Supervisor and Group Finance Manager, you''ll support the smooth running of the day-to-day finance function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing Contract Sales Orders, Applications for Payment, Contract Sales Invoices and Purchase Orders
• Setting up new customer and supplier accounts
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Processing credit card expenses
• Preparing and issuing statements
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations
• Responding to time-critical queries from clients and colleagues
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting activities
• Helping identify ways to improve processes and efficiency
