Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of a growing and ambitious construction business based in the heart of London. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has accounts experience within the construction industry and is looking for a role where they can take real ownership, work closely with senior management and become an integral part of a growing finance function. Working from the company''s Aldgate office, you will report directly to the Finance Director and work alongside an existing Accounts Assistant. You''ll have the opportunity to get involved across a broad range of finance activities, rather than being restricted to one area of accounts. What You''ll Be Doing You will support the day to day running of the finance function, working closely with the Finance Director, wider finance team and operational colleagues. Your responsibilities will include: Support the management and processing of invoices received into the AP mailbox. Bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
