Accounts Assistant

As Accounts Assistant based in Lancing, you''ll handle day-to-day financial operations to keep everything running smoothly. From managing invoices to supporting month-end processes, your role will ensure the accounts are accurate and up-to-date. Client Details A well established business based in Lancing. Description Process invoices and payments efficiently and accurately. Assist with month-end tasks, including reconciliations and reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding payments when necessary. Provide financial data and reports to support decision-making. Collaborate with the wider Accounting and Finance team to improve processes. Respond to financial queries and provide assistance as needed. Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Experience in accounting or finance within a similar role. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements. Good communication skills to work effectively with different teams. Job Offer Salary between £28,000 and £30,000 per year, dependent on the level of experience. Permanent position in Lancing.
