The Accounts Assistant will support the accounting team in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. The organisation operates as a medium-sized business with a focus on delivering quality services to its clients while maintaining a professional and efficient working environment.DescriptionReporting directly to Finance DirectorTwo-stage bank reconciliation for 30 property funds (commercial and residential)General ledger reconciliationService charge fund reconciliation - this will involve investigation Accounts Payable entries and leaseholder transactionsSetting up transfers where needed e.g. landlord forward funding, reimburse CIS retentionsMonthly review of landlord loan balances to service charge fundsThis may expand in due course to reviewing service charge expenditure reports, posting accruals and prepayments and assisting with the preparation of working papers to support year-end service charge accounts provided to leaseholdersReporting to our Financial Controller and Finance DirectorCirculating daily cash statementsTenant refunds - deposit returns, rent credits etcTransfer of deposits to Deposit Protection ServiceTransfer of service charge monies from rent accounts to service charge accountsInter-account and inter-company ..... full job details .....
