As an Accounts Assistant in the industrial and manufacturing sector, based in Gedling, you''ll handle day-to-day financial tasks to keep operations running smoothly. From processing invoices to assisting with reconciliations, your work will directly support the accounting team.

This organisation operates within the industrial and manufacturing sector, based in Gedling. This role is offering hybrid working, with 2 days per week from home, and some flex on hours.

Description

• Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and documents.
• Support in month-end and year-end accounting tasks.
• Handle supplier queries and maintain positive relationships.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on ad hoc financial projects.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Experience in a similar role within accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good numerical and analytical abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.

Job Offer

• Hourly pay between -15.00 and -18.00, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary position immediate start offering flexibility and varied tasks.
