Accounts Assistant

The role will be fully based on site in Coleshill and parking is available.Duties and tasks will include:Processing purchase invoice ensuring approved in line with policyPosting of Purchase invoices on FCL and SageDealing with invoice queriesMaintain query fileSupplier statement reconciliationReconciling EUR suppliers with Contra agreementsPreparing, posting and managing weekly and monthly payment runs GBP and EURPosting all DD paymentsSupplier remittance adviceRaising Insurance credit notesReconciling Insurance Nominal accountVAT/DUTY nominal reconciliationDaily bank reconciliationCreating new Purchase ledger accountsDaily cash forecastTransfer invoices to SageOpen Sales ledger accountsCandidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is preferred.A basic understanding of accounting principles and practises.Good Excel skills (experience with Sage is a bonus)Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Be able to prioritise own workloadWilling to learn to expand the roleINDLS ..... full job details .....
