Job Description Accounts Assistant This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance team of an established venue in a varied, all-round role. Working as part of a close-knit Finance team, you''ll support a range of day-to-day accounting activities including invoice processing, account queries, bank reconciliations and general finance administration. The business is looking to strengthen the Finance function as it continues to develop, providing additional capacity and support across the team. The role would suit someone with a broad understanding of transactional finance who is happy to work across different areas and provide support where required. About the Role As an Accounts Assistant, you''ll join a Finance team currently consisting of 3 people. The team is moving towards clearer ownership of different areas, while continuing to provide cover and support across the wider Finance function. Your responsibilities will include processing invoices, dealing with invoice and account queries, completing bank reconciliations and supporting the team with general finance administration. The role offers good variety, with the opportunity to gain exposure across different areas of Finance rather than being focused solely on one transactional process. While there will be clearer ownership within the team, a broad finance skill set and willingness to support colleagues will be important.
