Accounts Assistant We re recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business looking to appoint a reliable and organised Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys transactional finance, takes pride in accuracy, and is looking for a long-term role within a supportive and expanding business. Introduction Working closely within the finance team, you ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the accounts function, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Processing purchase ledger invoices, matching to purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements. Preparing supplier payment runs and resolving invoice queries. Raising customer invoices and credit notes. Allocating customer payments and supporting credit control activities. Processing daily bank transactions and bank reconciliation''s. Assisting with month-end finance processes. Maintaining accurate financial records, fixed asset registers and employee expenses. Providing general administrative support to the finance department. Supporting payroll administration when required. Ideal Skills and Experience Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Bookkeeping role. Strong knowledge of purchase and sales ledger processes. Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
