Accounts Assistant

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a finance team in Worsley.

This is a role suited to someone looking to support a busy finance function, with responsibility across project accounting, cash management, forecasting and month-end activity.

What will you be doing as an Accounts Assistant?

• Managing the full financial cycle of projects, including costing, reporting and closure
• Managing cash across multiple bank accounts and reconciling balances
• Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
• Supporting month-end close, including POC schedules and journal entries
• Supporting budget and forecast phasing for revenue and Cost of Goods Sold
• Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Preparing ONS submissions
• Supporting colleagues with key finance tasks during periods of absence
• Completing additional finance and administrative duties as required
