Accounts Assistant

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful business, in an exciting and contemporary setting. Based in Tring your main responsibilities will be to support the Finance Manager by taking responsibility for day to day accounts and supporting the financial month end. Reporting to the Finance Manager the transactional responsibilities will include: Overseeing all aspects of transactional accounts principally receivables Dealing with customers, issuing credit limits and ensuring their credit is managed professionally Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received Responsibility for completing all bank reconciliations Month end responsibility for prepayments and accruals, posting journals and double entry accounts Preparation of VAT returns Responsibility for processing internal expenses We are looking for a capable and self starting finance professional who will provide the following: The ability to ensure all day to day accounts are managed and completed The ability to undertake month end tasks with a view of moving toward month end closure A positive and supportive business partner who will grow into the role and become a rounded accounts assistant Someone who thrives in the office environment ..... full job details .....
