Accounts Assistant (Immediate start)

Accounts Assistant Temporary Location: Ellesmere Port Industry: Manfacturing Contract: Temporary long-term sickness cover We are recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established metal manufacturing company in Ellesmere Port. This temporary position will provide long-term sickness cover within a busy finance team. It is ideal for someone with strong accounts experience who can quickly adapt to a new working environment. Key Responsibilities Processing purchase invoices, credit notes and supplier payments Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger tasks Responding to finance queries Providing general administrative support to the accounts team What We re Looking For Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or in a similar role Good knowledge of core accounting processes Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail Previous temporary or contract experience is preferred Confidence using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel An organised, dependable approach and the ability to adapt quickly What s on Offer A long-term temporary assignment The opportunity to work for an established manufacturing company A supportive team environment An Ellesmere Port location ..... full job details .....
