ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT | NEWBURY | UP TO £32,000
A new role has arisen for an international business in Newbury who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their established team on a permanent basis.
The role would ideally suit an individual who has knowledge of accounts payable processes and is looking to develop their career in a fast moving and growing accounts department.
The position will be responsible for a variety of duties which will include:
- Processing invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Raising purchase orders
- Cash payment allocations
- Raising sales invoices
- Credit control and chasing overdue accounts
- Processing Staff expenses
- Petty cash
- Assisting with month end duties, including journals, reconciliations, accruals & prepayments
To be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Prior knowledge of accounts payable
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally
- Competent IT user including experience of Excel
