A well-established SME in Witham are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance administrator looking for a structured, part-time role within a supportive and professional environment. Initially offered on a two-day-per-week basis, there is potential for additional hours in the future as the role develops.Location: On-siteWorking Pattern: Part-Time, 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)Salary: 15 per hour ( 28,860 FTE)Estimated Start Date: Mid-MarchWorking closely with the Finance team, you will support day-to-day transactional finance activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong credit control processes.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing credit control, including proactively chasing overdue accountsSupporting sales ledger activities, raising invoices and allocating paymentsMonitoring and managing finance mailboxes, ensuring timely responsesSetting up bank paymentsMatching purchase orders to delivery notes and processing credit notesReconciling fuel receipts and corporate card statementsIdentifying and resolving missing invoice queriesManaging petty cash and issuing customer statementsProviding general administrative support to the Finance teamWhat we are looking for: Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or finance administration roleStrong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyAbility to prioritise workload and manage ..... full job details .....
