Accounts Assistant

Your new companyI am working with a well-established and internationally recognised manufacturing organisation, based in Burnley to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. Operating within a specialist engineering sector, they supply products to customers across global markets and continue to invest in their people, processes and future growth. Your new role In your new role as Accounts Assistant, you''ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities. You''ll be responsible for processing sales and purchase invoices, managing customer and supplier accounts, carrying out credit control activities, allocating receipts, resolving account queries and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You''ll also support supplier payment runs, maintain account records and work closely with both internal departments and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Alongside transactional finance duties, you''ll assist with month-end activities, including reconciliations, reporting and maintaining intercompany balances.
