Your new company We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and reputable hospitality business based in Blackburn on a temporary basis.This is a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and support the finance function during a busy period. This position is offered on a 2-month temporary basis to provide additional support during a busy period, with a possibility of extension for the right candidate. It''s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys stepping into a role and making an immediate impact.Please note: Experience using Sage Intacct and Sage 50 is Essential.Your new role Key Responsibilities:Supporting the transition from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct, including data migration, system checks and ensuring accuracy across both platforms Processing purchase and sales invoicesBank reconciliationsAssisting with month-end processesMaintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasksData entry and ledger maintenanceWhat you''ll need to succeed Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar roleExperience using Sage Intacct and Sage 50 is EssentialStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage workload independently and meet deadlinesGood communication skills and a proactive approachWhat you''ll get in return Immediate start preferred4 days per week on-site in Blackburn30-hour working week offering good ..... full job details .....
