Accounts Assistant
Location: Near Normanton,West Yorkshire Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pmContract: Temporary with the possibility of becoming permanentPay Rate: Competitive hourly rateHays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team based near Normanton. This role will initially focus on Purchase Ledger duties, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger Clerk who is immediately available and looking to join a supportive and fast-paced finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging accounts email inboxes and responding to supplier queries.Processing approved purchase invoices onto the finance system.Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.Assisting with weekly payment runs.Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment queries.Providing ad-hoc support to the wider finance team as required.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience within Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger or a wider Accounts Assistant role.Good Excel skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.What You''ll Get in ReturnImmediate start available.Competitive hourly rate.Monday to Friday working pattern, 8:00am - 4:00pm.Friendly and supportive team environment.Opportunity ..... full job details .....
