They are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who is either qualified by experience or working towards an ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualification.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of weekly management accounts with KPIs and supporting informationPreparation of monthly management accountsVariance analysis: weekly vs monthly vs budgetBank and cash reconciliationsWeekly/monthly payroll analysis and journalsAccruals and prepaymentsBalance sheet reconciliations and variance investigationSupport in annual budgets and forecastsInternal audits to strengthen site controlsAssistance with year-end audits and auditorsSupporting information for monthly tax computationsExperience and Skills RequiredQualified by experience or studying ACCA, CIMA, or AATProven experience in a similar role, independently managing monthly accountsStrong IT skills, particularly ExcelExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and accuracyBenefits IncludeFinancial ..... full job details .....
